DESCRIPTION:Team Pickleball-Spring Session 2026\n        Registration starts Feb 15th – February 28th on the club website \nWe are trying a new Tri-level Team format this upcoming session. \nThe rationale behind this format is: \nIncrease play with other club members that a player would not have contact or play with on a regular basis. \nOffer opportunities to mentor and encourage players at all levels. \nIncrease participation in Team Pickleball during the Spring session when there are lower club members available to play. \nThe Spring Session will be 4 weeks starting March 18 -April 15th \nFinals April 22nd \nPlay will be on Wednesdays @ 3:00pm \nEach team will consist of 6 players \n2 Advanced Players (4.0) (1 male & 1 female) \nIntermediate Players 2 (3.5) (1male & 1 female) \n                                      2(3.0) (1 male & 1 female) \n*No preferred partner selection or prior teams will be considered \nSign-up with your self-rating level 4.0\, 3.5\, or 3.0 \nWe will put the teams together.   Subs Needed! SUMMARY:Team Play
DESCRIPTION:Team Pickleball is played in a round robin format between a team of 2 men and 2 women of equal quality and age. Each season lasts 7 weeks. If you do not have a ranking\, the panel will determine that for you. \n\nFALL Session 2025 will start at 12 Noon on:\nOct 14\, 2025 for 3.0 & 4.0\n&\nOct 15\, 2025 for 2.5 & 3.5 \n FALL Session 2025 ending at 12 Noon on:\nDec 16 for 3.0 & 4.0\n&\nDec 17 for 2\,5 & 3.5 \nYou must be a current Westbrook Pickleball Club member. Each person should sign up individually. Partner Requests is allowed\, but Team Requests is not allowed.  Indicate if you are willing to be a Captain when you sign up. Teams will be determined by a panel. We are always looking to have people who are interested in signing up as a sub. \nWe also need to have people who would be willing to be a scorekeeper for our matches. We like to have a scorekeeper for each match. We can teach them. \nWe will use rally scoring with each game to 21\, winning by 2 points. Each match consists of one woman’s double game\, one men’s doubles game and 2 mixed doubles games. If there is a tie one more mixed doubles game will be played to 11\, winning by 2 points. \nLevels of play:\n2.5 to 2.99  Wednesdays\n3.0 to 3.49  Tuesdays\n3.5 to 3.99   Wednesdays\n4.0 plus   Tuesdays \n\n
