Pickleball is played on a 20 ft x 44 ft court with a ball similar to a whiffle ball. The server always starts in the right court and serves across court diagonally. The ball must land beyond the 7 ft no-volley line and be within the side and back boundaries. Points are scored by the serving team. If a point is scored, the server and his/her partner change sides and the play continues with another serve, across court in the other direction. The server continues to serve, alternating courts until the serve is lost by a fault. The game is won by the first team to reach 11 points, with at least 2 points more than their opponents.
